Thanks you for your comments regarding our menu, i would just like to submit a response to show we are listening and have accommodated as much as we can.

Vegetarian / Vegan.

we take on board that the copy of of first menu wasn't easy to understand and need clarifying, however the majority of the responses was for vegetarian. This we then accommodated more then vegan, however some of the dishes we are serving just needs the dairy product removed to make it vegetarian. We are also a new team of staff working in a brand new building with new customers, this therefor has been taken into account on building the menu and creating dishes. The team we have in the kitchen will not have the time to hand make every dish, this is simply not practical, economical or viable in this current climate. I would like to advise you all that our unit price for electric is £1.38 and yes i know there is government help for 6 months but how that looks still isn't clear or clarified to what happens in 6 months time.

I also run other pubs and cafes and for the combermere i have spend more time, effort and took more options on our menu then ever before, this is shown with the current 35 variations of our mains, yes just mains. This isn't something that can be undertook lightly in the kitchen hand producing every dish, our that fact of factoring energy prices, this isnt sustainable. We wont be able to afford to have the cooking equipment on all day baking individual dishes.

We are trying our best to accommodate as many people as possible, however how our menu looks now is how it will look until we have settled into the pub, know more about customer demand and know what is selling and not selling. I have had message regarding pasta dishes, more fish dishes and also then more vegan dishes. Like i said earlier with 35 variations on mains we can't keep adding dishes.

I would also like to mention that we really feel blessed to have started our tenure of this amazing pub in this amazing location, the overwhelming support we have had is amazing and we fell that we have been welcomed with open arms. We certainly feel the pressure and are taking every step we can to make this a amazing success and bring another pub which has its door shut back open and into the community.
