The Lord C Tuesday Quiz is up and running

For the past 13 years I have acted as quizmaster along with the late Mike Haines in the pub.

Now that Allan and Jo have moved on to a new life, Paul Hayward and his team of Donna and Dee are running the Lord C. All have the community in their plans for the future and are very happy to play a full part in all we do here in the glorious village of Audlem.

Some 70 plus quizzers gathered on Tuesday evening for the quiz night and it was very heartwarming to see all back to test their knowledge.

A huge learning curve for the new team and they came up trumps. Great atmosphere and the very good selection of sandwiches served at half time, along with bowls of lightly crunchy chips, was much appreciated.

We will hold quiz nights now every Tuesday- right up to the Big Christmas Quiz on December 20th, when Paul and his team will lay on a super buffet for all.

A big hoop well and truly jumped through -- and I look forward to fronting these nights for the next 13 years!!
