In early September the Lord Combermere will be adding one more bus stop to the village as it takes part in the Ale Trail event, organised by Hop & Grain.

On Saturday 8th September private buses will run throughout the day on a circuit taking in a selection of the very best pubs in and around the area.

Start the day with a quick pint and perhaps a bite to eat at the Lord Combermere, from where you can catch a bus, starting around midday, to the next pub on the trail.

Or perhaps skip a stop or two and carry on to somewhere else?

Taking part in the trail are:

  • The Lord Combermere (Audlem)
  • Joules Brewery (Market Drayton)
  • The Falcon (Woore)
  • The Swan Inn (Wybunbury)
  • The Leopard (Nantwich)
  • The Globe (Nantwich)
  • Black Lion (Nantwich)
  • Bhurtpore Inn (Wrenbury)
  • Combermere Arms (Burley Dam)

A few of the pubs will be putting on entertainment on the day, whilst all offer dining. The buses will be running until 11pm.

A ticket to hop on the Ale Trail, which provides you with a wristband, which entitles you to travel on the buses, costs £13 and is available from the Lord C or from the Hop & Grain website here, which also has full details of the event.
