Looking for information on the Salmon family

Elaine Davies writes: "Has anyone any information on the Salmon family who lived in and around Audlem between 1550 and 1680, and if anyone local is descended from that family, I would love to hear from them. I also have relatives that lived at Moss Hall in the early 17th century – Dorothy Cotton who married Francis Tompkin and their daughter Dorothy Tompkin who married my direct ancestor George Salmon at Audlem in 1672."
