Long ARS on the Sandstone Trail

The first Long ARS walk of 2016 is next Saturday 9th January, meeting in Audlem public car park at 8.30 am, led by Anton Woolford and his description follows:

Bulkeley – Maiden Castle Loop 11miles and 2000ft.

The route

Starting from the top of Coppermine Lane SY14 8BY – SJ520550 the route follows the familiar Sandstone Trail ridge before dropping to loop back via fields, tracks and roads. Some stiles, livestock and mud!

A steady 3-booter, whatever the weather. Meet at 8.30am.
