Lock 15 Gardening Group

With the Spring coming we are beginning to think about working again on our gardens at Lock 15. But first we are going to have some tea and cake. We would like to invite anyone interested in joining the group to join us on Thursday afternoon at 3.30pm.

In the next couple of weeks three plots which are at present overgrown will be cleared for us thanks to the CRT Volunteer Force. If you are interested in taking one of these plots and coming on Thursday, please contact me: email adrianleighton@btinternet.com

The Lock15 Gardeners Group is one of the ADAPT Action Groups and manages the gardens for the Canal & River Trust (CRT) through an 'Adoption' agreement. As well as gardening there is also the opportunity to act as 'welcomers to Audlem' on behalf of CRT to boaters and other visitors.

Soon the Lock Hut is to be renovated and be available for the use of the Gardeners' Group. Interesting times are ahead this year.
