Yesterday, Audlem Online started a series of articles promoting local shops. We started with Williams' newsagents – today we turn to the Salad Bowl which now has a surprisingly wide range on sale.

The Salad Bowl

A highly popular take away service, which includes:

Freshly prepared sandwiches and rolls

Home made hot soup

Jacket potatoes with various fillings

Toasted Sandwiches or Paninis

Tea, Coffee or Chocolate

Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, delivered daily – local produce now available

Fresh Fish ordered for collection on Fridays

We are now home-roasting Maynards Farm Honey Roast Gammon, Fresh Turkey Breast and Beef.

Fresh Flowers for Sale, weddings, funerals, table arrangements, bouquets or floral tributes for any occasion.

We are now able to provide the highest quality bespoke Birthday or Wedding Cakes in Rich Chocolate with fresh flower or chocolate decoration along with the Chatwins Celebration icing cakes. Also:

• Maynards Farm free range Pork Pies, Sausages and pre packed bacon (A Rick Stein Super Food Hero)

• Chorizo and Serrano ham, tapas selection

• Local Free Range Large Eggs (from Reaseheath, Nantwich)

• A fine selection of cheeses including local Mrs Windsor's Cheshire Cheese

• Patchwork Pate (small sizes available)

• Chatwins bread and cakes delivered daily

• Home made cakes, scones and meringues to order

• Fresh Coffee beans, a fine selection from Taylors of Harrogate

• Cottage Delight Award Winning Preserves and Chutneys, Italian Pasta and a wide variety of other produce

• Tracklements Award Winning Preserves and Chutneys which includes 'Onion Marmalade', a popular favourite

• Demels hand made Sri Lankan Chutneys, including recipes (A Rick Stein Food Hero)

• English Honey

• Loose marinated olives, pickled garlic and feta stuffed baby bell peppers.

• A wide variety of olive oils, vinegars, dressings and marinades

• Rapeseed oil, for the health-conscious, this oil is locally produced in Shrewsbury and comes in many flavours. It is high in omega 3, 6, and 9, has half the saturated fat as olive oil and has a higher burning point, therefore makes great roast potatoes.

• Fortes Welsh creamy ice cream for take home – also grapefruit sorbet for Christmas.

Orders taken now for Christmas:

Holly Wreaths

Hampers and wrapped baskets with produce selection of your choice

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable orders

Chatwins bread and cakes

Flowers, Christmas bouquets and table decorations

Tomorrow, we will feature the Coffee Lounge, which is next to the Salad Bowl and is open every day, except Wednesday during winter.
