The Decision of the Cheshire East Council announced today resolved that the Bunbury and Brereton Neighbourhood Plans should proceed to the relevant referenda, subject to minor changes in the Examiners' Reports.

Although the Audlem Neighbourhood Plan had been proceeding to more or less the same timetable as these two, it was delayed by the Examiner having to draw on extra legal assistance because of the volume of objections to the Audlem Plan raised by Gladman and others.

As a matter of interest, a member of the webteam was travelling towards Nantwich along the A529 alongside the hedge behind which the new Little Heath development is planned, and a large part of the field was literally under water – not, one would have thought, a sensible place to propose building a housing estate, especially given the recent publicity associated with the flooding of large parts of England.
