Nantwich based Thea Gilmore, who has played at Audlem's Shroppie Fly, is seeing success with her new album Harpo's Ghost which now sits at #19 in the independent charts. Audlem based music legend Jim Kirkpatrick is the guitarist on the album which also features Thea's partner Nigel Stonier, who produced the album. He also produced Jim Kirkpatrick's album which was released a few months ago.

Thea and the band are starting a tour to promote Harpo's Ghost and will be playing at the Sugarmill in Hanley next Monday. Mojo magazine has described Thea Gilmore as: "The most coherent, literate and charged singer-song writer of her generation." The magazine gave a hugely impressive four out of five stars while the magazines Uncut and Diva have also rated the album very highly.
