Local Musical Trio Hits the National Papers

Local musicians Jim Kirkpatrick, Les Hunt & Steve Hayes probably never thought they would be causing a fuss ten years down the line when they dubbed themselves 'JLS' to perform as a trio.

This weekend however, as also reported by national 'newspapers' such as The Sun and The Daily Mail, a number of fans excitedly discovered tickets were on sale for an intimate acoustic performance.

Sadly these fans were excited at the prospect that the evening would be a reunion gig for the teen-adored but four-years disbanded Pop & R&B X-Factor runners-up Boy Band JLS.

Tickets for the concert at the Manna House in Warrington sold out in a few days.

AOL were unable to contact Jim, Les or Steve to confirm whether the trio would be honouring their namesakes – as a thank you for the ticket sales boost – by taking to the stage bare-chested.
