Local LPG supplies

Hello my fellow Audlem/Hankelow Residents... I just wanted to let everyone know that there has been a change in the laws regarding transferring from one LPG supplier to another. Previous to this law change it was a very difficult process to change, basically you had to either own your own tank or pay to have the tank physically swapped from one supplier to another. My tank has been with Flo Gas, previously called British Gas. I've not been happy with their pricing for some time but was unable to easily change supplier. I've now contacted Extra Gas, who are based in Manchester, and we are in the process of changing over to them. Their prices are significantly cheaper than that offered by Flo Gas and I don't need to worry about changing my tank; ownership just transfers from Flo Gas to Extra Gas.

If you feel you need to review your LPG price I suggest you contact Extra Gas, 0161 789 000. The sales man Mark Wilson (0780 0525892) suggested that if a significant number of homes in the area converted to them then we might all benefit from a further discount, similar to how the oil central heating customers benefit when they all order together.
