The walk started in Llandrillo, in North Wales, a decent drive, but worth it for the stunning scenery and unspoilt landscape of the Berwyns.
Llandrillo is a small town in North Wales on the River Dee, very pretty and well connected by buses! Fourteen of us took part in a wild, particularly windy, walk, which follows the footsteps of the old drovers making their way to market. It was a gloriously sunny day, and we battled the wind and took the detour to the Moel Ty Uchaf stone Circe, with 360 degree views.
The return leg was a very pleasant walk through the forest on the banks of Avon Llynor, a tributary of the River Dee. ( And we didn't see another walker!!)
