Residents with an interest in live music may enjoy tuning into a live concert tonight being broadcast online by the FatPigeonLive project. You'll remember that FatPigeonLive is a group of local music enthusiasts who travel around in a van filming gigs and interviewing musicians.

Tonight, Audlem's very own Pete Marshall will host an evening of unconventional Bluegrass from The Railsplitters, a Colorado based Americana band who are visiting the Up In Arms Folk Club in Biddulph as part of their UK tour.

The Railsplitters are pushing the boundaries of Americana & bluegrass. With their lush harmonies, instrumental virtuosity and non-conformist songwriting, The band deftly demonstrate what happens when musical influences ranging from samba to hip hop merge with traditional Appalachian music.

All being well, the live stream will begin at 7:30pm on YouTube Live, Facebook Live and Twitch.
