Lion at large in Audlem

The police have just informed Audlem Online that one of a pair of concrete lions has been stolen from

the garden of a house in Heathfield Road, Audlem during the past 48 hours. The lion is about 18

inches tall and painted white. If anyone has any knowledge of the

whereabouts of the lion then PC Ken Maple would be grateful if you would contact him.

And while no crime should ever be condoned, the Audlem webteam will be eternally grateful for the headline opportunity this crime created!
