Lights coming down

Sadly the time has come to take down all the small trees and the Big Tree in the centre of the Square and to switch off all the lights that have graced the tall trees around the village.

The members of ADAS committee will be hard at work from 10.00 this morning taking on this task. All the lights will be carefully removed – held as they have been by thousands of cable ties which has ensured we managed to survive the severe gales without incident! 

Trees will be taken for recycling by the Scouts and Guides team in the car park. We apologise for any disruption as we work in the Square and now start planning for 2012 Christmas and the Big Switch on next November.
