Licensed Reader at St James' Church

Last Saturday, 17th October, Anne Draper became the first person to become a fully Licensed Reader at St James' Church after three years studying.

To celebrate the event, many from Audlem attended Chester Cathedral and the photographs show Anne and Rev Helen Chantry processing out of the cathedral at the end of the ceremony.

Also shown are a few of the group who came and supported Anne having tea and cakes afterwards at the Cathedral.

Finally, Anne repeated her vows in St James' Church the next day – Sunday 18th October, where she was presented with a gift from the congregation.
