Saints conceded a goal in the first minute last week but this week they scored one in the very last minute to win 3-2. Playing a well organised Betley side, Saints had to work hard to create chances. A rare slip in the Betley defence gifted the opener to Audlem Saints as a poor back pass was intercepted and calmly slotted home. A good, longer range effort put the Audlem lads 2-0 to the good.

Betley kept plugging away and pulled back two good goals. With the game deadlocked at 2-2 and only seconds left on the clock, a Saints central defender surged forward and smashed home the winner!

Saints have now played 10, won 9 and drawn 1. They continue to be frugal in defence, conceding only 7 goals all season whilst they have scored 34 in total.

Next week, Audlem play Boca Juniors, kick off to be advised.
