Landing Strip Required

Audlem Remote Control ( Flying ) Club has announced that it is to temporarily (hopefully) cease to operate, because the field that was being used as a landing strip has turned out to be unsuitable and an alternative is being sought.

We would like to permanently rent a piece of open flat land,on which we would need to maintain a landing strip about the length of two cricket pitches, on a piece of land about the size of football pitch.

The field should be free from cattle and have vehicular access so members could unload their cars, I had plenty of interest shown but unfortunately potential members were put off due to the poor access of our old field.

We can be an electric only club and the aircraft are near silent when flying.
