Teaching Opportunities at Reaseheath College

Are you passionate about our land and environment? Are you interested in conservation, environmental land management, sustainable farming, zero carbon farming, new agricultural technologies?

Reaseheath College and University Centre is striving to be at the forefront of these areas changing the nature of land-based careers, led by our Academy of Land & Environment. Due to substantial investment in new technology and resources and rapid growth of our curriculum, we are looking for enterprising and dynamic instructing and teaching staff to join our team. We are about to embark on an exciting time as we begin to deliver T Level programmes and develop our Institute of Technology.

We have a range of practical instructor, lecturer, and course manager roles available. We would welcome applications from people with practical knowledge and experience of the land-based sector including estate maintenance, landscaping, production horticulture as well as agriculture and horticulture related machinery operations. And we would welcome those with qualifications and specialisms relating to farm livestock production, agricultural business and sustainability, machinery and data technologies, crop husbandry and plant and soil science.

In return we offer a great working environment, beautiful surroundings, generous pension, annual leave, and a welcoming family feel. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a college celebrating 100 years of specialist land-based education and paving the way for another 100. An opportunity to share your skills and be part of shaping the practical, academic, and pastoral development of the next generation of land-based professionals.

Formal teaching qualifications are desirable, but your experience, knowledge and skills are more important to us, and we can provide on the job training to help you become a qualified teacher.

Please note this role constitutes 'regulated activity' as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
