Knife Angel Statue

AOL may or may not be aware of this item. Your readers may be interested in seeing this impressive (and disturbing) sculpture which is touring the UK and is now in Crewe.

Created by sculptor Alfie Bradley in conjunction with the British Ironwork Centre in Oswestry, the Knife Angel has been created from 100,000 seized blades -- collected by 43 police constabularies. The background to the sculpture and how it was made can be seen at the the British Ironwork website

The Knife Angel will be located on Memorial Square from Wednesday 3 May until Wednesday 31 May.
