The Kipling Singers Announce Concert In Aid Of Leighton Hospital Radio.

On Saturday 15th November, popular local singing group The Kipling Singers will be performing a concert at The Scout Hall in Audlem.

Known for their close harmony singing, the group will be performing a wide selection of songs from shows, some chart classics as well as some more traditional works.

Tickets are priced at £2.50 per person and £2.00 for OAP's with the performance commencing at 7.30pm. Tickets can be reserved and paid for on the day by calling Henry on 01270 811068 or alternatively from Williams Newsagents or The Post Office in Audlem.

All the profits from the evening will go to Leighton Hospital Radio for the provision of equipment to enable them to continue their vital service at the Hospital.

Radio Leighton's Chairman Mr. Robert Squirrell said: "I'm delighted that The Kipling Singers have kindly agreed to perform a concert in aid of Leighton Hospital Radio, not only will it be a great evening's entertainment for those attending, we also plan to record the concert and broadcast the performance to the patients of Leighton Hospital.

"In doing so it really adds value to what we do as a voluntary organisation and assists us in achieving our main goal which is to distract the patient from why they are in hospital, even for a short period, by providing relevant entertainment."
