On Monday 24th March, the Nantwich Bookshop are hosting Max Adams, the best selling author of 'The King In The North', the life and times of Oswald of Northumbria.
JRR Tolkien based his character of Aragon, in Lord of The Rings, on King Oswald.
Tickets for the event are just £20, which includes the book (rrp £25), and a meal of Venison Pie or Leek and Ham Pie, or a vegetarian option and potato wedges.
If a couple wish to attend and only want one book the ticket for two will be £25. There will be a cash bar.
