A good local home is wanted for a top of the range Kensington S mobility scooter.

Lyn Hodgkins wishes to donate the scooter but would like the new owner to make a donation to Audlem Aid to Cancer Research (AACR) in memory of her father Dave, who used the scooter, and her sister-in-law, Janice, who tragically died of cancer.

The FreeRider Kensington mobility scooter is a distinctively styled and very popular 8mph 4 wheeled model. It is fully road legal and ideal for use on most uneven surfaces, as well as roads and pavements.

Its features include an infinitely adjustable tiller, an adjustable seat, easy to use controls, and a full lighting kit as standard. It has:

  • Easy to use controls
  • Comfortable seat rotates, slides, and has flip-up arms
  • Sturdy shopping basket
  • Infinitely adjustable steering column
  • Maintenance-free sealed batteries
  • Front and rear lights
  • Indicator lights
  • Styled, 12"/ 30cm pneumatic wheels
It was purchased in 2005 and was only used for about a year. The batteries will need attention and possibly need replacing.
