With just days until we are singing & dancing to the songs of Queen, ABBA & Buble, it's time to start preparing your picnic hampers for Audlem's Jubilee Party on the Park picnic concert taking place Saturday 7th July 2012 on the playing field.

Audlem's fleet of independently owned stores offer all you need for your perfect picnic: here are a few suggestions to help get you started:

Hoc's Fat Pigeon – Nothing tastes better than when sandwiches are made with freshly baked bread. Order your Snape organic loaves and rolls by Friday ready for you to collect Saturday morning.

Whilst there, why not pick up some delicious homemade jam for your scones, yummy baked goods or organic eggs for a nice salad.

The Old Priest House – The perfect place to pop in and get some sweets and ice cream to keep the children occupied.

Jinja Bakes – Whether you are looking for a few slices of cake or some luxury sandwiches to dine in style this weekend, look no further than Jinja Bakes.

Call 01270 811584 to discuss what culinary delights they could supply. Their handmade cakes are simply divine.

There are many more shops throughout Audlem, so why not take a potter around and create your own perfect picnic for this weekend.

The village is not just a mecca for food & drink, if you are travelling by bicycle to the event Audlem Cyclesport will be open until 5.00pm and for that wow outfit why not visit Mandi Boo's.

Adult tickets are £20 each and children £6 each. CHILDREN UNDER 5 ARE FREE.
