Don't forget to join the protest march which is due to take place tomorrow, Friday 11 July, in Nantwich. We've recently run two stories about this event which has been organised to protest about the downgrading of the volunteer first responder service in the area. (See stories headed "Hands off our first responders", published on 6 July and "Ambulance protest march next week", published on 4 July.)

Please do what you can to support this vital campaign and join the march if at all possible. Protesters will be assembling on the Barony Park Fields at 12 noon with their banners and will get underway at 12.15 pm. The route will go along Beam Street, into Market Street, across the Town Square, down Mill Street and across Waterlode on to Mill Island. At Mill Island recetly elected Crewe & Nantwich MP Edward Timpson will give a brief speech backing the campaign.

Marchers are being asked to wear white T-shirts or anything in green and yellow – the North West Ambulance Service colours.
