Audlem singer-song writer Jim Kirkpatrick is taking his acclaimed live show to Crewe's Limelight club tonight, Wednesday, starting at 9.00pm. At tonight's gig, he will be backed by Heavy Weather, who regularly play with Jim at the Shroppie Fly and the Audlem Music Festival.

Jim released his debut album Changed priorities last year and has toured Europe and America with Thea Gilmore and also played guitar on her top 40 single Juliet. His album was released after the London indie label 'A Startled Chameleon' recognised his talent.

Jim takes his influences from the likes of Jimi Hendrix and plays a mixture of bluesy rock and acoustic numbers. He's been playing guitar and writing songs since the age of 12 and has since established himself, at 26, as one of the region's top performers. As well as the Audlem Music Festival, he's also a regular at the Nantwich Jazz Festival.

Tonight's gig starts at 9.00pm, admission is free. Queries at the box office, 01270 251929.
