Jessie's June poem

JUNE
I'm late, I'm late
For a very important date
No time to waste
Hello-goodbye
It's June, It's June, It's June
So, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

Yes it is June,
"Flaming June"
The month we can expect
Some sunny days at last!

Let's hope for better climes
Perhaps not wall to wall sun,
But clear blue skies,
Warm breezes
And perhaps just a few drops of rain.

This is the month for weddings,
As the saying goes -
"Happy is the Bride
The sun shines on today"
So we need plenty of sunshine
And a lot of happy brides.

This may not be a poem
As such
But I haven't had the time
To make it all rhyme.
