Janice Spibey of Cheshire Street, who works at the Salad Bowl, has raised a bumper sum for St Luke's Hospice by successfully completing the Midnight Walk on 17th June. She has now received all the promised sponsorship money and it totals a wonderful £1,355.10.

The 13.5 mile walk, a half marathon, was from Reaseheath College and finished at Bannatyne's Gym on the Sandbach Road out of Crewe. An amazing 1,200 people set out at midnight and Janice completed the walk in 3 hours 43 minutes. In all, around £170,000 was pledged in sponsorship to help St Luke's in its work.

Janice says she is extremely grateful for all the support she has received and wishes to thank everyone who sponsored her.
