It's a small world...

AudlemOnline readers of a certain vintage will remember Reuben Palin – an Audlemite who left the village in 2012 for pastures new to live near the sea and moved to St Davids in Pembrokeshire. He joined Dyfed Powys Police and early in 2014 he became a member of the St Davids Lifeboat crew. He was a major driving force in the Lifejam event in Audlem in 2014 and shortly afterwards was also involved in the Mend Our Mom campaign.

Reuben writes

Having left audlem in 2012 to work in Pembrokeshire with Dyfed Powys Police it was a shock today (Tuesday) to be patted on the back at Pembrokeshire show by Bob and Ann Poole all the way from Audlem.

Bob and my mum went to school together, rather a large number of years ago.
