Tomorrow, Saturday 14th April, it's the ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) monthly walk. The planned destination is the Goyt Valley in the Peak District, an interesting walk of 10.5 miles (with a short cut if need be) with Victorian ruins, a Tibetan prayer hut and the highest point in Cheshire.

There could be a change of plan on the day, however, as a prime reason for the choice of the Goyt Valley is the rhododendrons being in flower. If they're not, there may be an alternative hike in the Peak District with the Goyt Valley saved for next month.

If you are interested, please meet on Audlem Car Park at 8.30am.
