Items stolen from Public Hall

PC Ken Maple writes: "The Public Hall, Audlem was recently entered during a Sunday evening and a number of items were removed from the premises. Amongst these was a large umbrella of the sort used on patio tables. It had alternate blue and white segments. If anyone has noticed such a brolly appearing anywhere in the village over the past couple of weeks then I would be interested to know where it is. "I reported on Saturday that some money had been found in the village. I'm happy to report that the lady who mislaid it saw the item on the web site and contacted me giving details of how much she'd lost and where she had mislaid it. The money will be back in her purse very soon. Thanks to the web site team for the publicity."
