Hungry Sparrow Hawk – Rare Visitor

Please see attached a stunning picture taken by my son Geoff of a Sparrow Hawk sitting on the top of a tree outside of our kitchen window.

He's looking at a potential meal of four Blue Tits that had taken shelter in the dense tangle of branches below and stayed with us for a good 20 minutes. Whilst we have many varieties of our feathered friends visiting our garden, this is the first Sparrow Hawk in a very long time.
