Huge turn out for fireworks

The rain of early morning held off, fortunately, encouraging what appeared to be a massive turnout at last night's event. All ages were enjoying all the fun of the fair, the lighting of the bonfire and the spectacular fireworks display that started at 7.00pm.

ASET, the Audlem Special Events Team, with the very important assistance of Blitz Fireworks, pulled off yet another great event, attracting large number of visitors to the village and ensuring a busy night for some shops and the village's three pubs.

We hope to bring you a selection of photos over the coming days so, if you have captured the amazing display, or any aspect of the evening, all photos will be considered for publication.

We are very lucky to have ASET putting in so much time with their members working from early in the morning yesterday, and with much advance planning, to make Audlem's bonfire and fireworks, yet again, one of the best you could ever see. Some visitors, new to the village's events, just could not believe the quality of last night's display.
