Honorary member's Probus rescue

Unfortunately due to heavy fog at her home in Liverpool on Thursday morning, our scheduled speaker at Probus was unable to travel to Audlem to speak to members about her experiences of living with 62.5 million foreigners!

However, one of our honorary members and sponsor, was able to stand in at the last moment.

Derek Rooke gave a very enlightening talk on the history of Ireland in the 20th Century. Judging by the number of questions from members at the end of his talk, it was evidently very well received by members.
