Hole appears again in village centre

Audlem Online's underground agent reports that the hole outside the fire station that is regularly dug and refilled by various contractors has collapsed once again. Indeed, a large and deep hole has appeared where it was resurfaced just a week ago. Our agent has checked to ensure no Welsh miners are trapped down there!

While the hole now has warning tapes around it, more worrying is the smaller hole that has appeared in the middle of the road, the A525, adjacent to the manhole cover. Given the history of holes in this area, it would appear that the work on the drain repair reported on Audlem Online on 1st August is getting urgent.

Mind you, as everyone on the pavements nearby seems be to getting soaked this morning by passing vehicles driving through the uneven road's huge puddles, a complete resurface is needed since the road was dug up on numerous occasions by Muller Developments.
