The chairman of St Luke's Hospice Support Group has contacted Audlem Online to say that they will be holding a Pig Hooey (hog roast) at Corbrook Court under canvas on the lawn, starting at 7 pm on Saturday, 14th July. There will be live music and an opportunity for all the family to participate in various games as the evening progresses. Tickets cost £9 and entitle the holder to a pork bap and a pudding but you must take along your own beverage of choice.
St Luke's has been the lucky recipient of a swish new teak/steel garden table and integral gas patio heater (shown above) kindly donated by Derek Mckelvey. During the evening this will be auctioned off to the highest bidder by sealed bids, so if you are interested then do please go along.
Tickets for the Pig Hooey can be obtained from either Peter Morgan on 811575 or Alma Lawrence on 811410 or any of the committee. Alternatively, if you wish to leave a sealed bid on the patio set, please contact either Peter or Alma before the night.
