History Society on the Marches also this week

Dr Graham Dodd's talk on Tales of the Marches refers to their turbulent and often bloody past, very much at odds with the area's peaceful beauty of today, enjoyed by visitors armed with cameras in place of swords. Dr Dodd illustrates his talk on legends and history of the border towns and villages of the Marches with evocative slides which complement his talk perfectly.
