Celia Bloor writes: "The History Society has been given a thimble shaped but larger piece of china with a coat of arms, marked with 'R H' and '1622' on it (see photo). It is not Goss but similar, probably from about 1920. "I have found that they have copied a memorial board in the church which marks the death of Ralph Hassall who owned much land in the area. I wonder if there are any others like this out there? There are another two boards in the church with coats of arms that they could have used. "We have also been told that reproduction plates with 'Audlem Riding School'

on were sold at the Malpas Rally. This closed at the start of the war. We would be glad to hear of any other similar pieces."
