Do you shop at the Co-op?

Of course you do!

Did you know that purchases made at our local Co-op can directly help local organisations? It’s a fact!

Right now, and up until October 2022, if you have a Co-op Membership Cardand use it every time you shop, 2p in every poundyou spend on Co-op branded goods and services is given by the Co-op Community Fund to three local organisations.

This year, the three organisations are:

• Audlem & District Community Action (ADCA
• 1st Audlem Brownies
• Overwater Wheelyboat Services

If you would like all the money put into the Community Fund from your spending to go to one specific organisation, you can arrange this by logging in to your Co-op account. Otherwise, the funds earned are distributed equally between all three organisations (and we’ll all be grateful!).

What we will do with our share

The funds raised for ADCA through the Co-op Community Fund will help us reinvigorate our weekly lunch and coffee clubs to support the mental and physical health of people in our rural community who are elderly, isolated, or otherwise need help and support.

Our clubs offer a safe space for members to come together to socialise, take part in light physical activity and enjoy a nutritious meal. We will use these funds specifically to help us offset the ancillary costs, such as catering, rent and transport.
