Audlem Sunday X1 played Woore for the second time this season and again won convincingly.

The Audlem batting was held together by opener Andy Rothwell who hit 69 supported by 50 not out from Paul Thorburn.  In total seven Audlem batsmen achieved double figures giving an excellent total of 251 for 6.

In reply the star of the Audlem bowling was Abbie Adams who took 4 for 12 including a hat-trick.  This is a rare achievement in any level of cricket and Abbie's achievement ranks with the very best (look out Charlotte Edwards).

All the other bowlers did very well, Tom Kural took 2 for 9; Andy Rothwell also took 2 for 9 and young Matthew Day took 1 for 11 from 4 good overs.

This was a day for the youngsters with Abbie being the star of the show.

A good finish to the season and our thanks are extended to Woore Cricket Club for the way they played the game. They only scored 68 in their innings but they played the game in the right Sunday spirit.
