The closure is necessary for Cheshire East Highways to carry out road maintenance works.

The alternative route will be via the following streets: – Woore Road, Audlem Road, Nantwich Road, The Square, London Road, A51 From Stafford County Boundary To Irelands Cross, Access Roads Beside A51, A51 At Willoughbridge, Newcastle Road, Boons Bank, Eccleshall Road, Market Drayton Road, A53 From Adderley Road Roundabout To Newcastle Road, A53 Adderley Road Roundabout, Adderley Road, A529 From Adderley Lodge To Start Of Adderley Road Market Drayton, A529 From Adderley To Cheshire County Boundary and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

It is anticipated that the works will be carried out between Monday 27th June 2022 and Monday 11th July 2022
