Green Lane Field

At the Audlem Parish Council meeting on 16th July, Councillors were informed that the contract documents for the purchase of the field had been received. Some minor changes to the contract had been identified, which had been pursued by the Council's Solicitor and have since been agreed by the vendor.

An Extraordinary General Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 24th July at 7pm in the Methodist Rooms specifically in connection with Green Lane field. These discussions will be held in Part 2 of the meeting when, because of the sensitivity of the information, the public will be excluded on the grounds of commercial confidentiality. Amongst the items to be discussed will be to resolve to purchase the field and to resolve to draw down the loan from the Public Works Loan Board.

Audlem Parish Council will provide an update with more detailed information once the contract has been signed.
