Great start to year

Audlem Online saw an excellent start to 2012 with a record readership in January.

The total figure was 34,844 readers – an average of 1,124 a day – and 40.5% up on January 2011. The previous best month was November 2011, when 33,499 people, or 1,116 readers a day, clicked on the site.

The number of pages opened last month was 96,517 although that figure was slightly down on November 2011 when just under 100,000 pages were opened.

The webteam is hard at work on a major upgrade of Audlem Online at present and we are eager to recruit a number of specialist correspondents – possibly including our first Woore correspondent. He or she will not, however, be obliged to wear a flak jacket!
