Great start for Art Exhibition

The first weekend of this year's Canal Art Exhibition at Audlem Mill was a great success, with a large number of visitors coming to see the 150+ paintings and photographs on display.

Several paintings were sold, and at times, the Mill was virtually packed out!

Many people came to Audlem especially for the exhibition. Some travelled quite some distance by car, and quite a few came by boat.

There were far more people than would be here at a normal March weekend, and we are glad to hear that trade at several local business was up too.

All in all, a great weekend for Audlem, and this will, we hope, be repeated, as the Exhibition is on every day until 14th April.
