Grants for Audlem

The Minutes of yesterdays meeting of the Cheshire East's Communities and Health includes some good news on the allocation of grants.

The Council had received various applications for community grants to be considered in line with the Council's policy for the allocation of community grants. The report made recommendations totalling £35,367.

Three local grants have been made:

• Audlem Public Hall committee has been granted £5,000
• Audlem Special Events Team will receive £900
• Wrenbury Village Hall Trust has been awarded £340.

Carers' Support

AudlemOnline also learnt today that funding to allow ADCA (Audlem and District Community Action) to continue the carers' support group in Audlem has been secured for another year.
