Good Friends

My, oh my – there is a reason why
I am putting pen to paper
I'll tell you why –

I have a dear friend who has had an idea!
An idea? You say in wonderment
Why not write something for A.D.C.A. from us all she suggested
Yes, I said, why not – so here goes

We all need friends
Especially at this moment in time –
A dire time

Those good friends of our
Whatever part they play,
Have hearts of gold
'Listening ears' always turned on –
Energy beyond belief –
Kindness, thoughtfulness –
There are no bounds in Audlem District Community Action!!

Always there listening to us patiently
Especially at the fearsome time
Giving support, no matter what,
With smiles and understanding
So we, here, would like to take this opportunity
To thank all for your help and understanding –
and for the fact you are ready to lend a hand – - – - -
