Giant tree at Buerton worth looking for

Shane Thomson, who is a Giant Redwoods fan and advocated, last year, planting one on Little Heath, writes: "I've posted a picture of the giant redwood at Buerton Hall farm on the A525 – you can't miss it, it's huge – on a website called www.redwoodworld.co.uk (The website link that was here no longer works)

"It's an enthusiast's website and people send pictures from all over the country. There are some fantastic pictures of these stately giants so if anybody is interested please check out my picture. It has to be the tallest tree in the village."

The people who run the website have congratulated Shane as the tree is the first in Cheshire to pictured on the site. If you do go on to it, click on 'Location & Pictures' on the Homepage and then scroll to 'Cheshire'.
