Penfold writes: "Following Celia Bloor's comment: "It would be useful if the website listed numbers for various services. Remember we had all the fuss about water leaks – was it clean or dirty water etc!", I consider it a service to the community if this website started to list the names and phone numbers / e-mail address for council / health officials, etc (directors and the like level).

"When there is a problem that needs to be resolved the top official is then made aware directly of the problem. This would negate the need to waste time contacting minor / uninterested officials who seem to have little effect. But then again, this is possibly a step too far and may upset the higher echelons, and that would never do, would it?

"A point in case is the major potholes in the surface of the A525 (soon to be de-primed by the Welsh Assembly!) as you are travelling down Stafford Street out of the village. Should a motorcyclist hit one of these potholes and have an accident, I would imagine that the council would have some liability and any subsequent settlement would come out of our 'Community Charge'.

"Come on web team, be bold and publish the names and numbers so that we can contact the top people responsible, should the need arise!"
