There's a fascinating account of Geoff Farr's acquisition of the aircraft seen flying over Audlem very regularly in the features section of the website.

Geoff, who lives in the village, bought the JODEL D150 Mascaret two-seater in 1981 and has been flying the French-built aircraft since then. Read how the registration G-FARR results in Geoff regularly having Shakespeare quoted at him by Air Traffic Control. The aircraft, incidentally, is the only one in Britain to have registration letters that are the same as the owner's name.

In future, seeing Geoff fly over, all who have read his article will have a fuller understanding of the perseverance that went into acquiring this aircraft built of wood and cloth and powered by a Rolls-Royce engine.
