Funeral of Maggie Phillips

Friday 2nd February at 11am

All friends and family are invited to attend the funeral of Maggie Phillips, who sadly passed away on Tuesday 16th January 2018, aged 82 years.

The funeral will take place in the Audlem Methodist Church on Friday 2nd February 2018 at 11.00 am.

Refreshments will be available afterwards at The Lord Combermere.

Maggie played an integral part in the formation of the South Cheshire Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild alongside her friends Ann Pearce and Jackie Woolsey and she was renowned for her unique embroidery designs.

She also sang soprano with Audlem Voices and was a long term member of the WI, designing and creating a banner for the WI Centenary which remains on permanent display in the Scout and Guide Hall.

Maggie requested that all who attend her funeral should bring a single rose to reflect her love of gardening.

A special person, a special face, a special someone we cannot replace.
